Enomaly Releases updated Enomalism Virtualized Management Console v0.6
Enomaly, Inc. is pleased to announce a significant new release of its Enomalism virtualization administrative management dashboard for Xen Hypervisor 3.0x. The free update and immediate availability of version 0.6 software adds important new improvements and features to the web-based administrative tool. These ongoing developments continue to improve and enable the efficient management of multiple isolated virtual servers to be managed from a central web based interface.
Version 0.6 licensed under the LGPL open source license includes a number of significant new features and bug fixes from its initial Beta 0.1 release in May 2006.
New features and enhancements include:
- New installer making installation of core components a simple task. Using your distribution's native LDAP server it builds and populates the LDAP installation.
- Ability to resize partitions on virtual machines using Logical Volume Manager [LVM]
- Ability to change CPU and MEMORY allocation on virtual machines (live memory allocation)
- Tentative support for Ubuntu 6.x series, as well as Fedora core 4 & 6
- Cleaner, lighter AJAX interface, with distinct task windows, and optimized task workflow
- Improved user management and DOM ACL control
- Upgraded TurboGears 1.x MVC
- sHype/ACM Support on FC6
- Windows XP / Vista support using XenSource Enterprise
- Improved API and web services support for true service oriented architecture * Multi-server support for upcoming Enomalism commercial release (Feb 07).
